Christian Capestany was born in Miami, FL, where he attended art magnet programs including the prestigious New World School of the Arts. Christian has shown all over the world and at Art Basel in Miami and in the Marguiles Collection.

​Under the tutelage of Tom Wyroba and Jim Hunter, Christian was exposed to every avenue available of self-expression in the medium of art from assemblage, to performance art and video installations. In 2005, he was selected as a winner in the National YoungArts Foundation showcasing up-and-coming artists from around the U.S. 

Upon graduating with honors from New World, he attended the Maryland Institute College of Art and studied illustration. Later, he moved to New York City to continue his studies at NYU where he received a Masters of Science in Digital Imaging and Design.
